Playing that far up north would be like a vacation if its played there before october for the Tigers. No hurricane possibility, either. Late august would be perfect.

Agree 100%...WHY on earth would LSU agree to a "neutral" site game IN Wisconsin ????? Makes ZERO sense !
The season ticket holders want good Home/Away games NOT money grab AWAY games and then Towsons',UAB's etc. at home !!! Why does this seem soooooo difficult to understand ? We want VALUE for all the fees/ticket costs...NOT shipping away of good games !!!

we should happily play any big name team at Lambeau EXCEPT for Wisconsin...

unless we get them down to the Superdome a year or two later

I went to Saints/Packers last year and it was incredible. No doubt the game would be played early. I love the idea and hope it happens. The neutral site games are here to stay for the forseeable future. Its great for recruiting and our national exposure.

Sorry if germans but J.Aleva was quoted in The Advocate today as saying he has no interest in playing in Wis. Lots more interested in playing in either Houston or Dallas.

Anybody who wants these neutral games are fricking retarded...Away teams want to experience Louisiana culture as much as LSU fans want to see different cultures/college campuses...that used to be the fun of COLLEGE football. When you play in neutral sites in states that have ZERO ties to either school, you lose the appeal of COLLEGE football. Wouldn't a trip to Madison or Austin or North Carolina be a fun experience, than going to fricking Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta every year?

Agreed. If I was a Wisconsin fan, I'd rather spend Saturday night in Death Valley than Saturday night in a giant parking lot next to Cowboys stadium.

You need to relax and back away from the computer. Its not very healthy to be that angry on the internet.

You do realize neutral site games are more of a compromise right? Not all teams want to play a home and home. I would rather play Wisconsin than TCU at a neutral site.

I would actually like that. I love seeing LSU playing different teams than the same ole same ole Bama, UF, Au,Ark, Ole Miss etc. Out of conferene games have always been my favorite to watch. Not to mention Lambeau is one of the most famous if not the most famous stadium in the NFL. It would be a great and fun experience for the players. Considering most of them may never actually get a chance to actually play in the NFL

I think it gives us a chance to expand recruiting also. They have some big linemen in the Midwest.

Big 10 teams don't want to play in the south bc they have to do it in Sept. once they start conference games they don't play ooc teams.

I am aware that it's a compromise...but where's the fun in playing a team once, in a stadium not in either teams state? Home and away OOC between top NCAA should be required. The only time neutral sites is acceptable is when two border states or in city rivals meet (i.e. Tx/OU, Fl/UGA) LSU burning a home game in Texas is stupid. Other posters have stated that a big OOC game against new teams is fun for fans of both participants

Cowboys Stadium is a neutral field for LSU-Wisconsin or Alabama - Wisconsin. Lambeau Field is a home game for UW. It would be like playing Wisconsin in New Orleans. There would be little opportunity to purchase any large number of tickets other than what is distributed to the school.

Party at Lambeau? It is in the middle of a subdivision and is the worst venue in America to "party"....real small city and no parking...

This is true. I have been to a game there and it is right in the middle of a neighborhood. It's basically a town of 60K.
