When Tom couldn't get the deal done, Vito send Luca Brasi.

Yep. Vito got the info he needed from Tom and set things in motion after Tom was on the plane.

Woltz was not a sicilian. Done by other assets though, not Luca.

But he was a pedophile, Tom found out and told Vito. In the movie they showed the girl on the balcony but didn't go into the details.

One of my favorite quotes.

That and when Waltz rants about Moe Greene building vegas and it not even having a sign up for him.

I believe the book explained the workers and servants were easily bought off for their silence...

He may have just been slightly drugged or drunk, sound sleeper or something like that?

So much fail. not only was it not Waltz that ranted about Moe Greene (it was Hyman Roth), it was also not in Godfather. it was in Godfather 2

In the book, the horse head is on top of the sheets, not under. FFC mis read it and they decided to go with it that way.
