You won't be able to get season tickets through LSU, but you can buy them from other students. Don't think there really is any other way

Damn times have changed since 2002. I never had a problem getting student tickets. Hell for the Cotton Bowl in 2003 I walked up to the LSU ticket office and bought 2 seats. No waiting, line or anything.

I got season tickets my freshman year in 2010, and we the largest freshmen class in LSU's history at the time. But I might have lucked out, because not everyone got al of the tickets. My point is it isn't impossible to get the full package deal.

They'll probably have 2 packages to pick from when you apply for tickets, but you'll probably get them all anyway

yep. Got to go to every home game my freshman year (2011) despite only picking 1 package.

Well obviously. We've won 2 championships since then

This is how its been since 2011. They send an email saying they don't have enough tickets for all the freshman but everyone I know that has applied has gotten all the tickets

They always ask you if you want the Gold or purple package just in case. The last 3 years all freshman were still awarded full season tickets.

I was one of the lucky guys when I was a freshman and got tickets to all home games. It was great.
