Will be staying near Camp Randall stadium by myself for a week. Anyone have any recs for some casual local places (by myself and can't charge expensive meals to the company)? Thanks.

Good luck, I've tried this thread before with no avail. I travel to Madison for work fairly often (few times a year), so I'll be interested to see if there are any good options out there as well.

thier strip is right at the edge of the campus near enough for you to walk and figure out what places are considered good by the locals.

Cajun, any places you have been to in your trips there that you would recommend? If I find any I will update this thread for you as well.

The Great Dane Brew Pub was pretty good, standard Wisconsin pub food (cheese curds, beer etc...). There was also an Italian restaurant, Biaggi's, which was pretty good standard Italian food. It's been a couple months since my last trip, I don't really remember any other eateries.
I don't know if either of these places would be walking distance for you, when I'm up there I'm at Epic and usually make friends with people in my classes that have vehicles up there.
