I think he's close to wearing out his welcome in Sac Town. Also he's a kid from the south so maybe he'll be more comfortable close to home.

If they got the number 1 or number 2 pick in this years draft....would you trade that for Cousins? Basically giving up Noel or maybe McLemore for Cousins.

I know its a crazy idea....

But the potential of a Cousins/Davis front court would be enticing..

Not for a 1 or 2. I think there is too much potential in Noel or Mclemore to give up. Maybe a 5 or lower I would give it a shot.

I imagine I will be in the minority here, but I would do it in a heartbeat.

Yes, I'd do it.
Davis + Cousins would be the most talented young front court in the league.

Too much potential?

Cousins is already a 16/10 guy and is only 22. If Sac wanted to do it then we would jump on it. Cousins is due $5m next year; if he didn't pan out, trade him at the deadline. If he worked out, give him a contract.

Change of scenery would do him good. He'd have to buy into what the Pels were selling to be truly successful

frick no.

He's got one more year before his QO. So you've basically got a year to decide whether to pay a player that has been a complete head case in HS, college, and the pros.

He's not going to change it this point. He is who he is. I'm not prepared to give up the 1 pick for a guy that is that much of a POS that I have to give a max deal to soon.

frick that.

Absolutely, we are in desperate need of a center. And Cousins is one of the best and brightest up-and-comers in the league right now. he has great potential. Davis and Cousins would be so deadly

An almost 20/10, top 5 center in the league at 22 years old, who is just scratching the surface of his potential?

Sounds good to me.

Also extremely volatile and battled with every coach he's EVER had. He's more likely to be suspended by his own team than by the league.

No denying his talent. If he had 3 years left I'd consider it. But I don't to have to be team to pay him a max deal. It's more likely we'd be giving up the #1 pick for a 1-2 year rental.

By all accounts Cousins is actually a pretty good dude. His teammates love him. He really hasn't acted up this year, either.

Playing on an actual team and not that clusterfrick in SAC would probably do wonders. We have a couple of UK guys, a coach who supposedly molds young guys well?, and money to spend in FA.

Wouldn't even think twice about it. Cousins/Davis frontcourt would be great.
