Why does it surprise you?

I don't live down there so I can't tell you anything like that, but this guy runs like Elijah Hood but smaller and more shifty. When bringing up Hood, people constantly talk about how strong and powerful he is, and Guice fits that mold.

It surprises me b/c we have an opportunity to sign a boatload of the very best players in the nation this year, and scholarship offers should be dear indeed.
We appear to be passing , or delaying on some truly good / intriquing players ranked high nationally.
Guice is not exactly a household word, has little "ranking" information, and only one offer tmk, La. Poly. Except for height and weight ( neither are noteworthy), no info on measurables.
In short, little data to support an offer. That's why I asked.

He's not c/o 14' so I don't know what your reservations are? He'll get plenty of major offers before it's all said and done

This is a 2015 recruit so I don't know what you're talking about. Brandon Harris for example didn't get one offer until 2 months ago and that first one was what??? La Tech. Then he was rated and offers started rolling in, and now he's a 4 star recruit.

now that LSU has offered him(Guice), you can bet your arse he'll be getting more offers in the following months and when he starts going to camps and displaying that power and vision, he'll have recruiting letters falling out of his mailbox.

So the LSU coaches should wait until you are well versed in a recruits life story before extending an offer? I'm pretty sure they have just a little more data to work with than you do.

If you want something to question, question your decision to post on this board at all.

Spot on Kid is a stud, and just doesn't go down. Someone even questioned his balance...

He already has in this thread some. Nothing serious.

I remember he told me this kid would be at LSU after about 2 weeks of practice his first year of Varsity football. At the time I wasn't sure if it was sunshine or real, but after watching a few of his games I had a good feeling he would get an LSU offer.

It is tough to get PT as a sophomore at CHS. Too many kids out there to get a really good look at everyone if they haven't already had a year to get seen.

I remember this kid when he played for the South Baton Rouge Jags in the Pop Warner league. A friend of mine coached him and when I saw him play, I knew he was special.

just curious. what does it mean that LSU has offered him as the 2nd la. guy to receive a 2015 offer? does it mean we really need rbs in 2015 or that LSU has him rated as the no.2 player in the state for 2015?
