I have AT&T DSL now
You can actually bundle that with directv and get one bill, but the bundle discount is only 5 bucks
I got one of the slower DSL connections but its working fine so far

I've heard mixed reviews on uverse
The quality depends on your proximity to the fiber node
If you're too far, you can only record one HD channel at a time, etc.
Directvs picture is flawless all the time for me, and pricing is competitive with everyone else
