Haven't paid much attention to the dogs since our series with them, but seeing the BA rankings and their overall record, I'm a little surprised to see them at 16. I would think 30-9 to this point would warrant a little higher.

Their OOC schedule wasn't all that great. Then they lost 4 series in a row, including their first 3 SEC series so that dropped them. They've played well the past 2 weekends though.

Can't argue with that logic. You'd think they would've started LSU and Vandy above UNC at the beginning of the year based solely on this. That's the only reason I can see UNC is first now, because they started higher.

History is a good indicator that ACC never finishes 1. Bump this when no ACC team makes CWS final much less win it all.

I cannot and will not bitch about any poll that has LSU anywhere between #1-3 as long as its a mixture between us, UNC, and Vandy.
I think it's blatantly obvious that these three schools are the class of college baseball this year. I hope the major analysts/pollsters can see this as well.
Also, I hope that one poor weekend by either of these schools would not bump them further than 5th in any poll.

I can't either... the way these 3 teams have separated themselves from the pack it's like #1a #1b & #1c
they're all interchangable... been saying that for 2 weeks now

ETA: The only thing I can point out is that UNC has played one (1) Top 25 team, whereas Vandy is 5-1 against the Top 25, and LSU is 7-2

I didnt realize polls were supposed to be an indicator of what happens at the end of the season. Thought it was based on merit until this point.
