Best Case EG trade scenario IMO

EG for Deng straight up. If Dell gets more out of EG I will be seriously impressed and he will deserve a huge raise. Deng gives veteran prescense (yet not that old) and position of great need. Doesn't hurt that EG and Rose are friends or that Deng is like the ultimate Monty/Dell player. Gives us financial flexibility as well with moving the glass mans enormous contract.
Next, I would be sure that we drafted Oladipo (Tony Allen mixed with Dwayne Wade) at 5 if that's the pick the lottery gives us.

That he makes ZERO sense for the Pelicans. Dell has said what he wants at the point guard spot multiple times. It's not Burke. Smart could happen if they believe in his defense.

How about instead of being a giant countmissle, you tell us what was said during these Chalk Talks...
We already know Dell wants to take BPA, and we already know he wants to upgrade the PG position... So why doesnt Trey Burke make sense if they're drafting at 6?
