does ps3/360 look better through hdmi on a HD computer monitor than it would on an hdtv ?

im assuming 360 and ps3 wouldnt be able to take advantage of the high resolutions monitors are capable of, but just thought id ask

if that's the case, would next gen systems be superior on high resolution gaming monitors vs HDTV ?

Will look the same, but you'll experience smoother play on a monitor

Current gen consoles hardware cannot run those high res. Next gen might be powerful enough, but it's about a 99.9999% chance they won't be supported.

Garbage.

I've been using a 51" plasma for a year with zero problems and totally smooth play with great frame rates.

If there is a difference, I seriously doubt the average player would be able to notice it.

I use one. Can't tell a difference honestly. I just use one bc I don't like playing on the big screen. I prefer smaller screens

My ps3 is connected to my 42" and I don't think it's big enough

I'm an average player and I notice the difference. Maybe it's because my monitor is almost 30 inches smaller than my TV, but whenever I play online games on my TV it feels a lot more choppy than on my monitor.
