So does Miami, Oregon, Texas, etc............how is their recruiting going now?

You need to change that to especially now with the top three results in wins Miles has given recruits to think about when they are deciding where to sign.

Facilities mean little to players if you dont have a winning rep.

Ask Tennessee or Auburn.

Brian Kelly couldn't keep the score within 30 against Alabama, even with a TERRIBLE gameplan Miles was still only 21-0 loser.........

Oh! You're right, cuz it's much better to lose 21-0 than 42-14! Good Lord! Neither of those 2 games were competetive at all, so what the score matter really? ND did muster 14 points somehow and we crossed mid-field once and Miles didn't even bother to try to put Jarrett Lee in the game! I'd say that was very poor coaching and I think 90% of the people on here would agree! I know I'm drudging up the past, but I'm just making a strong point.

Meyer split with Miles...........See nothing wrong with it.

Spurrier........like I said, never has beaten him
Like I said!!!! I feel Spurrier is a better game-day coach than Miles! You can't always go by head to head records! Spurrier has some elite players now, but does not have LSU's roster top to bottom. Saban has beaten Spurrier 1 time in 4 tries! Does that mean that Spurrier is a better coach than Saban????? Hell No!

quote:

So Florida wasn't as talented as LSU when Tebow came to Tiger stadium in 2007 or Spurrier's Team last year that beat the crap out of Michigan.....
No. I'd say LSU had the edge probably. I'd have to look and see how many from each team are currently on NFL rosters and frankly I don't feel like doing that. I will say that Florida lost 4 games that year.

quote:

Even last year against Bama, one broken assignment cost the Tigers.......
Agreed!

quote:

Get that shite out.......yall always pick and chose in the argument of Miles............but when you look at the whole picture......yall have nothing to stand on but hate.
No. Y'ALL always pick and choose in the argument FOR Miles! I DO NOT HATE Miles! Not even close. I'm just of the opinion that he's a great coach, but not an elite one. If he were elite he would have at least been interviewed for 2-3 NFL jobs by now or at worst would have been mentioned as a hot commodity.

I think you did. He's saying that the sports writer is not biased and all y'all on here wanting to crucify him for not ranking Miles #2 on the list are biased! Am I misinterpreting his point? Maybe so.

Random sports writers are a dime a dozen.

Football coaches in the SEC who have been winning at an elite rate are worth their weight in gold.

Ask schools looking for them like Tennessee, Auburn, Old Miss, Miss. St and non-SEC schools such as Michigan, Miami, USC, Nebraska and so on.

This sports writer may be random, but he also is dumb as dirt.

If you can't be even objective enough to see that, you may be dumb as dirt too.

I would put Miles in a tie with Saban (supposedly the best coach in CFB).

And what other college staff can equal Miles, Cameron, Wilson, and Chavis ????????????

This. The only difference between them is a Mulligan due to a loss by Saban, not by Miles. If 2011 ended the way it should have (or would have had Bama won on 11/5/11) Miles and Saban would both have 2 titles since Miles joined the SEC.

Miles would have done it with harder schedules and no alumni running the officiating office.

Not to mention that such "random sports writers" know about as much about LSU as what he can pick up on a quick CFL segment or Sports Illustrated College Preview.

I doubt very seriously that fricking guy has watched more than a full game or two per year if that.

But, yeah, I'm sure he knows exactly what he's talking about when it comes to Miles' abilities.

And this is precisely why you are idiots! Saban has 3 national championships in 4 years and 4 in 8 years and Miles is damn lucky to have 1 to his credit with a 2 loss season! Good God Almighty! Saban is in a league all by himself and there is no arguing that! Period!

Actually...........Saban is lucky to have 4 to his credit.........You see you frickity frick........all you can do is appease the argument to make in your favor.

Miles is lucky cause he has 1 2 loss NC....

Saban wasn't lucky in 2012 or 2013 for that matter.....I mean what is the odds of Florida winning 11 games losing 1 and not playing in the SEC championship?

Saban has had his share of luck buddy......

He is a great coach we get it .........you would gag on him........

But Miles is better than Richt, Spurrier, and 115 other D1 coaches.

He is top 3 in the nation at recruiting, hiring staff, and beating NC opponents.

Bama has won 2 National championships back to back with losses in November........ Saban ain't lucky.

Way to ignore all the other luck .

It is fact....based on our talent, OC and DC, and wins and losses.

No. There just wasn't any use in trying to argue with you condering 3 of the first 4 words were Saban is Lucky. That's all.

It's true even luckier than Miles.

A mulligan and both losses in nov and still got shots at a championship.....it's undeniable.

Admitting that does not make him any less badass.
