It's horrible, a true slap in the face to musicians everywhere.

It seems like a huge joke.

I have a friend in the security business that told me one time he conducted area security for Aldean. Post-show, there was a backstage party of sorts in Aldean's dressing room with rap music blasting.

My buddy, who is pretty no nonsense, thought it was kind of strange that a country music star would be blasting some gangsta rap after his concert...didn't match the demographic, if you will.

Anyway, that was probably three or four years ago...it all makes sense now.

Honky tonk badonkadonk.

And as long as we're talking country stars not matching a demographic, how soon we forget Tim McGraw.

whats shitty is that it was written by Thomas Rhett, who also wrote shelton's "boys round here" which is equally as bad as 1994.

but Rhett has written some damn good songs too like "i aint ready to quit", "beer with jesus"

and hes the son of Rhett Akins who has also written some damn good songs. T

homas rhett probably wrote it as a joke then aldean thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.

It is a pretty terrible song. Aldeans is not a great singer nor stage entertainer.

I listened to it after an exact same thread a few weeks ago popped up here. I don't get what the big deal is. Sounds like every other POS song coming out of Nashville right now.
