In my non-baller days I had a brief stint delivering spacewalks. It can be very stressful for the owner when trying to get your money from poor people who can hardly afford it. You will also have to maintain the spacewalks. I think he made a decent amount from it.

What's the process for figuring out the value of what someone brings in and how much you can turn around and sell it for?

If you don't have a vision for what you want to do then put your money to better use because the odds of making it big are really low.
Now if you already have a steady income and just need a small and steady profit then use any of the "safe" ideas suggested earlier.

[quote]That or ATMs would be my guesses[/quote)

you better have a good location. I worked for Loomis Fargo when I was younger and if you go the ATM route, you better be mechanically inclined. Those are hard to work on.

Well I started my own mobile auto glass business for a couple thousand worth in tools. You have to do alot more training than most people think and it can be alot of labor doing it by yourself like me. Lots of liability in it though.

ETA. Also lots of competition so you gonna need to spend lot of dollars on advertising and deal with insurance companies alot.

Take the online real estate classes/ get your license/ work as an agent part time while you work on your brokers license. Start your own firm.

My pop pop started a construction company in 1976 with only $500. The company now averages between $5 million to $10 million per year in revenue. To the OP, dont let anyone discourage you. Find your niche, pursue it and never give up.
