To be determined....

If he were all conference- we would have known this last season

I'd say above average will all conference potential. Just hasn't gotten over the hump quite yet

He's extremely underwhelming. He puts up almost no stats.

Going to be a beast this year. The Defensive line will be a strong point and he will play a large part. Physically gifted dude.

Agree thus far but supposedly the light switch has come on and he and Freak have looked very impressive. He's always had the tools but I think he's needed time to gain mass and the mindset of playing inside. Remember he was a big DE in highschool. I think he'll have a good season.

Not just him but I think the whole DL will be good(well at least the starting 4). I really don't think the D actually takes a step back.

DL = worse
LB = same or better
DBs = Better.

Defense = Same

We'll be fine at tackle, I'm worried about DE though, hopefully some of the incoming freshmen are ready to contribute

I'm hopefull, but when he was in and I focused on him, he was getting handled. Downs looked better. But with the experience he gained and another year in the weight room, he is going to be better than he was. He could be a solid DT but I wouldn't be surprised if he surpassed on the depth chart.

Hopefully shedding weight will make him faster off the ball and gain better control over the blocker....time will tell
