Anybody know if the fishing has been good. Looking to make the trip that way in the am just trying to get a read on how things have been going.

They were smoking the bass there about two weeks ago on swim baits. Lots of 4+ # bass.
It's within a National Forest and the rangers are always there and always checking. No beer in truck or boat.

I'm not saying one has to get smashed, but fishing without beer is Un-American IMO.

I passed by about an hour ago and there were quite a few boats. A friend went early in the week an caught 6,nothing big. ... Definitely have all your legal stuff in order and leave the beer at home. They WILL give you a ticket. I think they have a joygasm when they catch somebody.
