I drives me crazy when people say, "Military and local law enforcement wouldn't go with that..."

Well when the "leadership" says either you are with us and we will provide you with everything you need, or you can be a "criminal" for going against us... what do you think they are going to do? Anyone who has ever dealt with the cops should know the answer.

They will do what they are told to do, if it means killing you and your family it is really no big deal

The problem they have with this scenario is that these law enforcement, HS, ATF, FBI, whoever, do not live behind castle walls. And we outnumber and outgun them massively.

Let's get real here. If it comes down to you seeing this scenario going down and realizing that this is probably going to happen to you and yours soon... are you going to just wait for it or are you going to step out and blow that collaborator down the street off his lawn mower then fade back into the crowd?

When they kill your kid in an illegal raid, are you going to be worried about what happens to theirs?

This is why you have sheriffs all across the country saying HELLLLLL NO to this shite. We know where they live. We can take them out at any time. If each of us were to do one single assassination towards this end, can you imagine the paralyzing panic? 2 DA's and a wife get shot in Texas and it's total fricking meltdown over there now. Couple of morons with an AR and a car practically shut down the east coast all by themselves. One ex cop kills a few cops or their family in California and it's full blown shite fit. Take that times a thousand and imagine the panic amongst those who would dare to try this against us.

Yeah, that's not really something anyone wants to think about or do, but when it's your family or theirs... they are in deep shite. And with social media being almost completely uncontrollable, this idea could be disseminated overnight and go like wildfire across the whole country. A thousand people walk out the next day and snuff one that they happen to know where he lives. Government shuts down immediately. It's over that day.

If you were on their side, would you show up for work the next day or would you find another way to make a living?

THIS is the true power of the Second Amendment.

It's not pretty. It's brutal. But it's absolutely effective. And it could not be stopped as long as you don't wait till you no longer have that option.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

? Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

And I guess I'd better give the standard disclaimer that we aren't there yet. We aren't even close. But like the video pointed out, the fact that every time they try something we just buy more guns and more ammo is an indication to those who would try this that this is a very real scenario and one they can't win. So I have a hard time with these conspiracy theories. Although IMHO HS and ATF should both be disbanded.

Bureaucracies are capable of monstrous stupidity.

I respect your enthusiasm, but it's apparent to me the most of the nation is content to roll over and take it. No one has brought charges, or stopped any of the illegal activities the administration has been doing as of yet.

There hasn't been a Waco or Ruby Ridge yet either.

This kind of shite is always set in motion by a trigger incident. When you stampede the herd on either side, shite starts happening fast.

And most of the nation will be sheep no matter what.

This kind of shite doesn't require most of the nation to participate. It requires very damn few, just anonymous people with no background to tie them to it willing to strike their one blow. And considering the economic condition in this country right now, there are more and more desperate people every day.

Hell, the Nazis damn near took over the world and they were a minority in their own country and evil as frick. It's not about consent of the majority, it's about actions of the willing.

I'm glad you think you know them but you are stupid if you think law enforcement is going to engage in war against its local population

wow. I really hope you don't believe that. To lump a group of people like law enforcement into one category and assume they will do such things is no different than the narrow minded liberal that thinks ever gun enthusiast is planning his next mass shooting.

Watched almost all of it before I realized those guys are Canadian.

IMO, the real long term threat to gun ownership and freedom is not a large scale cataclysmic event like door to door confiscation. The real threat is steady indoctrination of the public by the media, popular culture, and government schools. The idea is to make gun ownership as socially unacceptable as something like smoking so that when that ownership is curtailed no one complains.

You only have to look to the states in the Northeast to see how this can happen. The gun manufacturers are located there because that area was the center of the gun universe ('gun valley'). Now 100-150 years later the citizens of those states cheer at restrictions on gun ownership.

My advice is not to move to an underground bunker but instead to take someone shooting for the first time and introduce them to the sport. And vote for pro-gun candidates.

Damn weagle. You nailed it.

What's crazy to me is that the people in these democratic states are actually excited to become sheep. They view gun ownership as so demonizing that they don't see a gun's value as a simple tool. And in reality, that's all a gun is - a tool. A gun is not inherently evil or inherently good just like a chainsaw can be used to cut down a tree or to cut up a person. The individual who is implementing said tool is determining what he or she wants to do.

I also think the propaganda and misinformation is the biggest tool the media is using right now. Joe Biden claims sheriffs "overwhelmingly" support legislation for gun control even though that is a bold-faced lie. Why don't they talk about the hundreds of sheriffs who say they won't enforce these laws? Because it slows down the process of turning people into sheep.

I am friends with and take care of ALOT of LE officers and military. NONE of the ones I know would fire on fellow Americans unless their life was in danger.

Exactly. That's why I'm not a big fan of blanket statements about law enforcement. Granted some of them suck, especially the ones in the communist areas, in free states most of them are great men and women and strong 2A advocates. I could never see any of them turning on the people they vowed to protect.
