Boat Dealers in Monroe Area

Has anyone had any luck dealing with any boat dealers in the Monroe area??? I'm looking at buying a new boat in the near future (hopefully within the next month) and was just wondering if anyone had dealt with one around here lately. I'm looking for something along the lines of a G3, Xpress, War Eagle, etc. Something to bass fish out of.

Play golf and fish this time of year. Pretty good restaurants in the area. Coupl of decent bars, but watch out for the Popo.

What mind of boat you want?
I've got a loss friend that has a 17' War Eagle with a 90 Honda on it that's practically brand new. I damn near bought it from him last weekend when I was up there, but don't see myself fishing for the next 6 months due to a 7 week old baby at home. The wife was already mad at me and I figured bringing a boat home was going to put me living in it for a while. The boat is sitting in a boat house on D'Arbonne. He wants around 10k for it. If it doesn't sell in a few months, then I will make the purchase.

Not just them. The damn LSP patrol the damn garden district and residential areas.
