Let's say Bush just left USC to go pro and this story came out today. After everything that has come out about UNC, Ohio State, Auburn, Penn State, Miami, and the NCAA would people still have called for USC to get the death penalty? Would his Heisman be taken away? The BCS championship from the year before be vacated? Would USC have lost 30 scholarships?

Imagine there's no Heaven. It's easy if you try. No Hell below us. Above us only sky.

I think its dumb he had to give it back... so what hr got some money. Didnt change the fact that he was the best player on the field that year.

If he was taking steroids that's a whole different story

Well, since he didn't "assault" anyone, no one would care.

ESPN would run a 30 second story on it, while leading with a 30-minute debate on whether or not to close down Rutgers

Yeah, well, some say I'm a dreamer, quail man. But I'm not the only one.

i think sports is corrupt at every level one way or another. still he was the best player on the field, barring steroids, so go give him the Heisman imo.

Vince Young was the best player on the field that year IMO.

I don't think we will ever see the Death Penalty again.
