You should have ended with "Driveman Out". It would have let us know off the bat it wasn't credible.

How's his motor?

All I care about is the motor.

Brandon Lloyd.

Nick Toon is still a rookie and has not proven anything.
Joe Morgan is talented but can be very inconsistent in his routes and catching in traffic.

So what exactly makes toon up and coming? The fact that he was drafted?

Would absolutely love this move.

Finally someone else agrees with me. I'm tired of hearing this board constantly assume Toon is just gonna step right in and play.

I don't particularly like his college film and what little we saw in camp last summer was terrible.

That would be a desperation move

^^cliche an stupid comment! if the best offensive staff in the league wants it, then is there even any professional that can make that assumption?! besides, every player with "issues" that has joined the saints in the past six years has exceeded most initial expectations.

I'm with you guys; Toon looks he part, sure, but he has proven absolutely nothing. I'm excited about Morgan, but Toon is a complete mystery.

Wouldn't mind bringing in Moss to help stretch the field. He might not be the close to the old Moss, but he definitely could
Still be utilized in the offense. He'd also be incredibly cheap, and we KNOW he can play.

28 receptions last year for 430ish yards and 3 TDs.

put this up right next to

"Brees doesn't need good tackles"

"He's replaceable (insert any good player not named Brees)"

"We can just take (insert position) in the middle rounds because we've done it well in the past"

It's like half the board has a hard on for trying to field a team with the most mediocre talent possible and then expecting them to just contend.

In a run first offense, with a qb who preferred to tuck and run.

That's decent production considering they aren't a passing team. He would have limited snaps, but would still be effective.

Toon will look great on the outside next to Mike Haas and Onome Ojo

For what...around a 900k vet min a invite to a CSP camp?
If he can survive without being cut or just quiting in the middle of a humid and hot south Louisiana summer I would say welcome aboard.

The real question is this:

Is he an upgrade over Devery? The answer is the same as whether we should sign him.

I'm dumbfounded by the number of folks who think Moss is any sort of benefit for the Saints when roster spots are at a premium.

Maybe I'm the delusional one. I would be shocked if this happens.

Put him through camp, if he proves himself worthy... Then he's earned it. He's also cheap.

yep...make him earn his spot in camp.

Moss would be interesting...very little risk for possibly solid reward move.

Anyone else he could have possibly been talking about?
