Underwater Forest 10 Miles offshore of Alabama

Does anybody know if this is a good offshore fishing spot? I don't know much about offshore fishing but it seems like it would be.

Old river channels and trees... sounds a lot like fishing toledo bend.

My guess you would need some kind of permit, but if you want to spend the $ and time and have the equipment (tug, crane, barge, crazy arse scuba diver friend) then you may be able to make some $.

I bet those trees are some cool colors inside too.

Yeah your Jon boat might be able to hold up that 2 ton log.

THat is some cool shite. Hard to imagine water levels being 120 feet lower than they are today.

The mississippi canyon and the green canyon were the River channels at one time.

I dove a fossilized river bed out of venice FL but it was mostly just river stone but we did find fossilized manatee bones and megaladon teeth.

I would love to get my hands on some of that wood.
That sinker wood is pretty expensive but it is quite beautiful.
