This is UCONN's SIXTH straight FF.

Might be a little miscommunication there.

Should have double teamed her on the inbound and never let her touch the ball.
Would have been ok with this, also...

We tried, we had a girl running to trap, but Parker was to fast for the girl guarding her and we never got her turned. She just sprinted down the sideline and to the goal with two defenders chasing her from behind.
I was furious that we let Parker go coast to coast. Should have double teamed her on the inbound and never let her touch the ball. Hindsight, of course.
Or we could've simply just boxed out on the backside.

Getting back to the original post, what the announcers actually said was that UConn was the first program to make it to SIX straight final fours. It was Holly Rowe talking to Geno in the post game interview, when she mentioned it.

True, but I didn't take it as that is what they meant. They sounded like they meant this was the first year..........evar!!!

I couldn't believe we let her beat us, but watching it unfold, you could see that Van Chancellor was trying to do exactly what UT did to Tameka a few years earlier. Candace was just too good.

Fowler had to come out to stop Parker from shooting a layup. All of our other defenders were chasing Parker.

This. The worst part was that they missed their initial shot. But the ball bounced right back into the hands of the Tennessee player. If only someone, anyone would have tipped the rebound the game would been over.
