I'm just going to get this thing started.

5'8 150lbs

Also, to avoid this getting whacked by the rando admins for not being "soccer related," what position did you play when/if you played competitively? Body type often has a pretty strong correlation here. I was usually a winger.

ETA: Touch is much better now and I usually play CM.

Never played growing up. Play indoor now though. My position is fast guy who can run all day but doesnt have much skill on the ball guy

5'9" 190-200 (depends on the month).

I'm a gym rat, not a soccer player.

When you chipped Valdes in the CL Semi last year, that was amazing. Excellent dance celebration as well.

FB, TE, DE, LOLB, MLB, ROLB

I in retrospect wish I would have played ... Probably CB but I had great footwork in football so maybe I would have got a chance to play a holding midfielder position.

How old are you? Enjoy it while you can. I used to play the same position but now I'm 30 and can't run that fast or that long anymore and am even worse on the ball. It sucks.

6'3", 165.

I played striker growing up, but because I have deceptive speed (slower than you'd expect), I moved back to midfield. Usually play CM outdoor, winger indoor.

Um, 30 in May

But to sympathize with you I have had more muscle and joint injuries from exercising/intramurals in the past year and a half than in my previous 28+ years combined

I wish had injuries to blame my rapid decline on. If my rate of athletic decline continues at the same pace it did from 25 to 30 I will be lucky to be able to roll out of bed by 40. It's sad/scary.

Well I also think on a pure Football related notion if I would have played soccer instead of baseball it would have tremendously helped out my football game.

Conditioning, foot speed & balance has so much to do with football that I don't see how I wouldn't have improved those skills even more if I would have played soccer as well.

Plus I think now how I feel about the sport I would have really enjoyed it as well.
