I've got MLB.tv but if the game is a national broadcast it's blacked out on mlbtv

i'm sure i'm in the minority but mccarver is the best baseball guy out there. he knows more about the sport and the participants in baseball than any man alive, imo. it will just be another reason to watch games without sound. i hope he continues his show; there may not be anybody in sports that can get yogi berra and joe garagiolo on their show at one time. mccarver is a treasure; but folks these days want plastic and polish. frick 'em.

I think Baloo knows more about baseball than McCarver. Baloo for Fox? Could Baloo handle the smugness of Buck 2 or 3 nights a week and 4 or 5 nights a week during the playoffs?

Aside from Dan Dierdorf, Tim McCarver is the worse annoucer on tv, he attempted to read the Gettysburg Address between pitches. I really believe that Fox & the World Series will be better off once he is gone.
That said his tv show isn't bad, just his announcing.
