The parents of a 14-year-old boy are furious after PETA protested their son’s cow raffle – and then sent the child a link to a website filled with former Playboy models wearing “lettuce” bikinis.

They are entitled to their own opinion but I don't think it's right to go after a 14 year old trying to raise money for a school trip.

In their e-mail to him, it said something to the effect of, "No one should have to die for your school trip".

Yeah, if you win you can either take the live cow or they'll have it butchered.

I want to find the kids contact info and buy some tickets.

Is that a belted galloway?

Quizzing myself on cow breeds. I've been out the show business for a while.

Hope he printed out the pictures of the nekkid chicks and sent PETA a F-U email.

That or Buelingo... they may be the same breed. I'm not sure.

I've always liked them though, and they are supposed to be a superior beef breed.

I didn't realize they were ever anything other than fuzzy.

I always liked looking at pics of chiania bulls. Those bastards are giant.

Is this the same PETA that slaughtered over 1200 cats and dogs last year?

Oh, yeah, those hypocrites.

Yeah, most I've seen just looked like normal cows out in a pasture. Of course most google images are gonna be "prime" specimens.

I thought belted galloways were typically a little smaller breed. I will say I haven't done anything with cows since my granddad had some. That was probably 15 yrs ago or more.

I thought they were too.

And they might be. There isn't much reference in those pics for how big those bulls are.

This is a large bovine

I'm not familiar with them...

I've only encountered the ones called Beulingos, that have the same Oreo pattern. But the guy who had them promoted them as a beef breed.
