Just moved into a new house and need a good propane grill. I'm not willing to spend the money on a weber. Is there another brand you folks would consider equal for less price? I want a 3 burner propane grill. The weber stainless is going for around $900. I'd like to spend around 400-500. If I"m going to have to buy 2 $400 grills to get the same life as a weber i guess i will spend the money. Thoughts?

Go talk to hank at Strickland propane.

On a serious note my uncle has this one, he loves it. Best of both worlds.

It's a clean burning fuel.

Taste the meat, not the heat.

Weber grills aren't worth the money anyway.

Love mine, make sure you buy the genesis or summit series, the spirit series are junk made in china, and yes you will get 2-3 times as many years out if a weber than you will most other brands

I've got a Kenmore 5-burner that I got from Sears after Katrina(late 2005). It's a strong, sturdy grill that's held up to being outside just fine so far.

Very similar to this one but doesn't have the infrared or rotisserie and mine is all stainless. This one is "this year's model" of the one I have.

What I like most about it is the thick stainless grill grates. These aren't your cheap, flimsy ones that rust and break after 6 months. These ain't going anyplace.

I have always heard Webers are worth the money. Was looking at the weber s-420 grill (around 1400-1500). Any suggestions on a better grill for that price or lower?

I'll be the first person to admit that I SUCK at cooking over charcoal. I'd rather gas where I can control the heat.

That's the beauty of the BGE. You can easily control the temp.

Too early to tell but Obamacare gives more access to healthcare for a lot of people so it is popular. Just doesn't go far enough.

I have a Primo XL and really like it, but you have a lot of options at that price point.
