Honestly destructible environments are the natural evolution of FPS. It allows for that different experience each time you play, but Dice is one of the few with a great engine for it.

It makes the gameplay a lot more immersive, believable and fun. Honestly, Bad Company 2 had better destruction than BF3.

BLOPS 2 was my last CoD to buy. I got a 2-3 weeks out of it before getting bored to shite with it.
It's amazing that mods (like Wasteland and DayZ) are more fun that any big triple AAA titles. Until studios start listening more to players I see this continuing.
Even the CoD mods people have made look more fun than the studio game.

I'd agree, BC2 nailed the big maps but was weak up close and BF3 was the opposite imo .

BLOPS II may have been my last COD hurrah but I never say "never".
If its good or atleast better than other choices out there I see no reason to let illogical principle stand in the way of a game I may enjoy. Same reason I may give BF3 a go after I get tired of Tomb Raider, RE6, AC III, Gears 4, Dead Island, ...and possibly Last of Us if it comes out before I get to the point of being BF ready.
