Teams from the Atlantic-10 - LaSalle with two wins, and Butler, Saint Louis, Virginia Commonwealth and Temple - are 6-0 so far in the NCAA Tournament.

should have done an A10 versus Big East comparison since it's much more relevant. Big10 has been good in the tourney so far

And the Big East. He said New Mexico was one of the best teams in the tournament too I think.

Yeah, I noticed yesterday he jumped on the PAC bandwagon

"I've been tellin you how good they are all season!"

I was like WTF? He mentioned nothing of the Pac the previous night when talking up the MWC.
Though, this was also before Minny eliminated UCLA, so he's probably off that now too.

He was right, technically. Mwc was the highest rated conference in the rpi coming in.

The MWC did save some face with Colorado St. and SDSU, albeit against meh teams.

The A-10 and Big 10 had a great opening 2 days, IMO.

Yea theres a decent chance of an all big ten championship matchup so I wouldn't be so quick to bark up this tree.

Not really decent looking at it historically. I've heard this record played before about the B1G after the regular season. There's a difference between winning games you are heavily favored in the 1st round and winning the whole thing against tough competition.

Historically you can't count on the B1G to accomplish anything in this athletic day and age.

They haven't won the title in over 12 years...despite flooding the tournament with teams year after year...and have ONE championship in 20 years.

I really just don't know why your PAC 12 loving arse hates the B1G that much. History has nothing to do with now and like you said earlier...we'll just have to wait and see bud.

Who cares what Barley says about college hoops? He freely admits he doesn't watch collage basketball all year and then pretends to be an expert. It's good TV, but if you take it seriously... wow. I thought Big 10 schools were supposed to be good schools.

And the Big East is lucky it's not worse. Marquette was outplayed and won because they hit three consecutive miracle threes before Davidson turned the ball over and forgot to play defense.

God, Buckeye fans are so damn sensitive...

Just b/c I don't trust a conference because of their long track record doesn't equal "hatred" in this day and age. Why is everyone so in love with that label?

There's a lot of reasons not to like the Big10 in picking the tourney.

Michigan St and Ohio St have pretty good track records. I trust them to do well consistently.
