My haul from today. Can't compete with Heady in Mississippi, but this should keep me busy for a few days. Some of it is the wife's too, like the Magic Hat and the Blue Moon, which was $1.49 a four pack of pints.

My FBD Sierra Nevada Ovila. My first Quad ever.

we'll excuse the blue moon on account it keeps your wife's grubby paws of your good beer

Agreed! Kinda like the garage full of Abita Strawberry that Coater bought for his wife last year. Problem is now she's developed a taste for his beer and the Abita Strawberry is just sitting there!

Hell, at $1.49 per 4-pack, I'm kicking myself for not getting her more.

not sure I'm going to trade any of these unless someone has some of the RR sours they are wanting to offload

I'm sure I could be convinced to offload a Sanctification. And perhaps an Abrasive or 2 for a side by side test.

I'm not sure I made a wise decision for my first Quad... but this is the only one available in the state, I'm told.

chalk it up to market research...you will never know if a beer is truly good unless you taste it yourself.

It's not horrible, and I won't tetu it or anything, but now I have 3 to offload somewhere. But you're right... good research for a great cause. I actually didn't realize it was brewed with plums. The other Ovilas get much better reviews.

No, I did see Rochefort 6 & 8 today, but not 10. I think it has something to do with the ABV, although this one is 10.2%.

Greetings, FBDers. After an insane amount of drinking last night, I don't plan on touching beer again until Zapp's. Pray for me

So, now that I'm sober, I really liked Juke Joint. Very solid local option, although it doesn't beat out other great IPAs, it'll be nice to have another solid local IPA on tap around BR. On the same level as Hopitoulas, maybe even a bit beter. What's been the consensus on it?
