LINK Mack looks like an early lock to a&m, as is the #9 player Kyler Murray (whose dad played at A&M). i believe LSU has offered #3 Kendall Sheffield recently.

Great, now thanks to you, we have no shot. Not sure if Eddie Murray went to college or not, but Kevin Murray was A&M's QB in the mid 80's when they were playing LSU. And per his wiki page it is his son. LINK

yeah, it's Kevin's kid and Kevin is still pretty tied into to A&M (he goes to all our games and he is currently mentoring our backup QB Matt Davis). We're holding off on offering because we really like Chason Virgil (#43 on that list) a lot. What happens to Kohl Stewart (MLB), Manziel (early NFL), or any other issues will probably determine if we offer just one or both.

dont blame a&m on waiting as long as possible on murray...they know that kid is a guaranteed lock.

He was pretty raw and first year reviews were pretty mixed (he was an EE so he's had a full year already). However, I've heard some pretty positive reviews of late. I'm pretty interested to see him now at the spring game and the warm up games next fall.

Kyler led his team (allen) to the 5A state championship as a barely 15 year old sophomore. Kevin is a professional qb coach so Kyler is as fundamentally sound as they come. Oh and he runs a 4.4 and is electric in the open field. Only knock is he is small. But again, barely 15.

Kevin got his arse kicked in Tiger Stadium. It would be our pleasure to do the same to his son.
