I was just looking at some guys in case we move back a few spots (which seems very possible) and what you guys think of them. Hopefully this will add some new discussion beyond the guys we always talk about.

OT:
DJ Fluker, Alabama Will likely go somewhere between 20-25. Huge guy, better run blocker than pass blocker.

Terron Armstead, Arkansas-Pine Bluff Guy that has ROCKETED up the draft boards, spectacular athlete.

Menelik Watson, Florida State Among highest upside of any OT, but raw.

DE/OLB
Bjoern Werner, FSU Once considered a Top 10 lock, has taken a tumble down the draft boards for no reason I can discern. Elite player at FSU. Would he play DE or OLB in a 3-4?

Damontre Moore, Texas A&M

Jamie Collins, Southern Miss

Alec Ogletree, Georgia

Werner is a 4-3 DE.

Love Jamie Collins.

I'd put Desmond Trufant on this list too. IMO, he's the best cover CB in the draft. Wouldn't mind trading back and getting him in the late 1st and Lemonier in the 2nd. But a lot depends on the Nnamdi situation. That will affect how we draft.

I would love to spend my time on this but I really don't see the Saints trading down unless all of the big name OLB (Jones, Mingo, Jordan) are taken by 15.

If by some chance we do trade down to the mid 20s, OLB Corey Lemonier, Auburn would be on my radar.

Good chance all 3 of those will be gone.Minnesota has the 23rd and 25th and need a top receiver. The OLB from Auburn is slated to go in the late 2nd or 3rd round don't think he's worthy of a first round pick

There's a chance but not a great chance.

I base this off of the 50 or so mock drafts I've seen.

Who knows.

From what I heard Saints are high on Jamie Collins.

Would be my choice. There are also a few DBs that I'd be interested in. All of the others listed don't really thrill me very much.

I think he's overrated. I'd rather take a tackle in the 3rd or 4th round.

Screw that noise. This draft has some game changers on defense and we need to get one. They usually only come around evey 2 or 3 years.

We need a Von Miller, JJ Watts, Jason Pierre-Paul, DeMarcus Ware (guys in the top or middle of the 1st round) not a Cameron Heyward, Jerry Hughes, Peria Jerry or Lawrence Jackson (guys you get at the end of the 1st round)

I've made a case for Ogletree a few times in various threads. It would be hard to overlook his speed and ability to cover the pass. Hawthorne wasn't all that productive last year. There were some decent reasons for that but at some point the player just has to make plays and he really didn't make very many.

Fluker is a mauler when it comes to run blocking but ahh.. we haven't always been that consistent running the ball. Brees does get rid of the ball pretty quick so even though Fluker can be suspect in pass protection, he could be a decent pick but I wouldn't really be that excited.
