Were you able to get Harvey?
Zack Wheeler, who is supose to be better than Harvey, will be called up at some point this year for the Mets. I would try to get him to hold on to especially if it is a keeper league.

Well, good luck. The minor league pitchers I like this year are: Cole, Wheeler, Skaggs in that order.
We get to carry two minor league players over to the following year (If they still have rookie status), so I'm a greedy bastard when it comes to young arms.

Good call. I like him a lot. I whole lot. I just worry about the team he plays for.

I was thinking the same thing. Season starts this Sunday

May not be a "sleeper" considering he was an opening day starter last season, but I think TD's very own BMac has a great year with Arizona this season assuming he stays healthy. His ERA has always been great. I expect an increase in K/9 since he is joing the NL. If he stays healthy, I could see a season like 14-15 Wins, 150 K's, sub 3.3 ERA. That's great value considering how late he is going in most standard drafts.

That's actually a lot more normal than you think for keeper leagues. We use the opening day as the deadline to submit keepers and players need to be known as to making the Opening Day roster.
The price tag to join the league is $250 so it is pretty serious.

Brandon Maurer, SP SEA
HS teammate of Gerrit Cole
23rd RD Pick 2008
0.90 spring ERA (20 IP, 22 Ks, .260 avg against)
Southern League Pitcher of the Year 2012
Will likely nab a rotation spot since Erasmo Ramirez won't.

I was rostering Erasmo. When I read he was likely not gonna make the rotation, I grabbed Maurer

Anyone else using Yahoo? Me and Wiseguy don't see Maurer in the player pool.
