Beautiful album that I'm falling in love with more per listen. If you're not familiar with the guy, he's been around for quite awhile. Instrumentation is very diverse from track to track. Lyrics are typically dark for Houck. Check out this track:

Thanks for posting. I've been meaning to check this album out after hearing Song for Zula on sat radio all the time...big fan of that song. I really like this style of music.

Really good album. Song for Zula is a song of the year contender.

Ive been listening to it while Ive been working this morning... Its pretty good, def like the twangier stuff more...

Also, this song sounds like it could be off the Wheat's 1999 classic "Hop and Adams"

Saw him last week. Pretty good show except for his keyboardist. Dude's an attention whore douche. Couldn't stop barking at the sound guy. I was impressed with the show though. Wasn't sure what to expect since its obvious he's a master in the studio. Nailed it live.
