Won a football signed by Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, however they didn't have a letter of authenticity. second place (we won) got a weekend golf trip to Biloxi. I'm wondering if there's anywhere around BR to get the signatures authenticated and is it worth more than a weekend in Biloxi with a round if golf?

A four man team won an autographed football? Does it get passed to the next guy each week, every 13 weeks?

Haha yeah, 58 at the dirty Maria was the winning score. But I just googled similar items and they are going for around a grand. So maybe I'm ok with winning these

People at chucks are good people and they will shoot you straight

If you don't want it ask for a trade for store credit. Tons of great LSU and saints stuff in there

Just a big scramble. It was for the LSU dental group and my buddy is engaged to one of them. Best part is we got "sponsored" bc other girls couldn't find anyone to play so they payed the entry fee for us.

And Chucks sounds like the place

I'm trying to find someone to give it a letter of authenticity

That's the best.

I was asked by a friend of mine to play in one years ago. He is a Circuit Court judge up here and his daughter was running it for some charity so we played for free. We came in with the winning score, but her daughter said, "Dad, you can't win". So we went over to Washington Golf and Country Club and played some more.

Doesn't accepting a prize with this much value purchase you in the position of having to give up your amateur status? What's the rule on that?

No...that is under the amount, which I can't remember right now.

But he is nowhere near in danger.

The value he received is the value of the football. That's why people hand out autographs. The value of the signing is $0.

The retail value of the prize is limited to $750. He's in no danger with a $25 football.
