SoS, that would be nice but I don't see it.
We do have some firepower outside, with some liability defensively.
Our biggest problem that will hurt us to make a run is lack of quality depth, especially down low.
JOB gives you presence. ADP can help in small doses. But, that's it. A physical team down low is going to always give LSU fits this year.

Well, Florida hasn't been great down low. The two teams that I think can dominate us down low is Missouri and Ole Miss. Besides that, most teams only have 1 decent post type player and as long as JOB plays tough defense we should be fine.

I agree that LSU to win the tourney is a long shot, but I think LSU can beat anyone in the SEC. Everything just has to go right. Mississippi State showed last night that the season starts all over once the tournament starts. Still hopeful!

It's a brand new season. Everyone has a shot at getting the title. It takes 4 good games and LSU could be dancing... It's an exciting time.

It's typically open for me, but I rarely watch it from home, mainly from the office. So I dont know if it is the same from people's houses.

I never count them out. Too many times, a team such as the Final 4 team of 85-86 or 86-87 Final 8 come along, get hot and make a run.
This team has played much better Basketball of late, but still showed their vulnerability in losing to Mizzou and Ole Miss.

Things that need to happen:
Hickey needs to play well and score some.
Mouche has to keep balling. If he does anything is possible.
JOB MUST stay out of foul trouble.
ADP has to have some kind of impact on the game.
We have to hold our own on the boards.

Today is a good test. Ga, much like LSU, has played better of late.

I Love March Madness. Lets make a run and get into the dance.

Lost 6 of their 9 away games in SEC. Not bad. Won @Tenn, @aTm, @SC

They have lost their last 4 on the road though.

Honestly would not be shocked to see any one of about 10 teams win this thing. UF is the best team but not by as wide a margin as everyone thinks. They aren't last year's UK team where them winning the SECT was just a matter of it they wanted to exert full effort or not to so. (Ultimately they really didn't. Struggled with LSU, lost to Vandy in the Championship after easily running through the conf undefeated in the reg season. Cal himself said he didn't like that they had to play in conf tournament).

LSU has legitimate inside/outside scoring threats. Get hot from deep, limit the TO's and play somewhat even on the glass, who knows what could happen? Even though they went 1-2, the team has played pretty well in their last three road games.

I personally feel whoever faces UF has a great shot. UF can't get a 1 seed anymore IMO. So whats the point in putting all the extra effort to jump from a 3 to a 2 seed??

100% agree. Florida could easily win it all, or they could come out less than 100% ready and lose to anyone. Especially a team like LSU who could get hot.

I don't see Florida winning the tournament. I just don't see much for them to play for. No reason to risk injury to an already depleted roster. They don't have supreme depth at all.

Very true, the NCAAs is their focus. This tourney just isn't a necessity for them in any way.
