I love chavis as much as the next guy but ut sucked for the 6 years with chavis. While he still fielded a great d they were no where near lsu's success as a team. It's a team game and lsus success is a attributable to the whole staff not just chavis and I'm sure he'd be the first to say so.

I don't dislike JJ because Mile put him on the field over Lee ... I lack respect for JJ because he never took an ounce of responsibility for his actions. The QB needs to be a leader. If he has a bad game, own it ... don't get in front of the media and tell them how good you thought you played. I don't know anything about Ricky Jefferson, but if he is anything like his brother, I say cut him loose now.

When the cheating scandal broke at UT, the defensive players fled to the NFL. Without the academic advantage, Fulmer could no longer get those players admitted nor keep the talent coming to UT.
As long as LSU keeps attracting top talent, Chavis will have great defenses.

That's fair enough. The plain clothes part complicates it, though. I'll trust Les over Team Lee.
