Cap is going to have a hard time squaring this one...a dislike for all things Jefferson AND a dislike for all things cop.

While a detective was placing a teen in handcuffs and interviewing the teen, Jefferson and two others approached the detective. Deputies say one of the teens with Jefferson, David Sampson, started getting too close to the detective. They say Sampson was warned twice to back away.
After telling the detective an expletive, he walked away from the detective leading the detective to have to chase him.
This is where deputies say Jefferson got involved. When the detective was cuffing Sampson, they say Jefferson and Joe Sharp started punching the detective a number of times.
They also say Jefferson and Sharp tried to block the detective from getting Sampson again, who ran away while the scuffle was going on.
Eventually all three were arrested. Deputies booked Jefferson with resisting arrest by violence.
He signed a national letter of intent with LSU four days later on February 6th. As of Tuesday night, the program did not have any comment on the matter.
