Looking for a new pacific coast sportfishing opportunity

I've been sportfishing in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Was looking for a new place to try out. Some buddies and i are going and like to go somewhere that has a decent nightlife and good offshore fishing. Has anybody been in panama/guatamala that can recommend a town and charter? Another trip to Costa rica and nicaragua aren't off the table so if you have any experience besides Jaco, Costa Rica and San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua please feel free to leave a recommendation. Thanks.

I have no input to this thread except to say that
I'm jealous.

Yea i was checking that one out, Pinas Bay seems legit. Other place i was looking at was Aruba. Probably not as good of fishing but nightlife would be good. Anybody know any good charters in Aruba? I know it's not pacific but looks legit.

San Juan Del Sur
How was this area overall? Looking to possibly make a trip there next year. How safe did you feel?

I would think with a little research you could get a way better deal than Tropicstar and probably fish the same area though. I know nothing about Aruba.
I assume by Mexico you meant Cabo? That's really the best nightlife to fishing ratio

We flew into managua and spent the first night there, it was sketchy. San Juan Del Sur is the coolest little beach town i have ever been to. At night i would stay near the main road on the beach where all the hostels and hotels are anyway. There are random blackouts and i got stuck on a random street at night with all the lights out, did not feel comfortable.

I found a place just outside of town that has 4 villas, 3-4 bedrooms each on a couple of hundred acre farm. ~$2400 all inclusive for up to 6 people. You have to rent a car at the airport, but a driver meets you and drives you the entire trip. Cooks, maids, food and liquor... I doubt we would be off the property at night but the area looked really cool with a ton of stuff to do. I might take a day to fish but the trip would not be a fishing trip...

Are you wanting to keep and eat a d eat? If so, take a long range trip out of san Diego on one of their groups from Point Loma. My personal favorite is the Royal Star. They are a great crew of folks who make product handling one of their top priorities. They gut and gill everything that comes on board and then throw it into a refrigerated sea water hold. So if you catch a nice blue fin on day one when you get back on day 8 your fish is still sushi grade stuff.
If your wanting just an experience, I'd get with rogertheshrubber for some ideas on Alaskan charters.

Manuel Antonio and Playa Flamingo/Tamarindo are two gems on the Pacific coast, and are absolutely epic compared to where you visited.
