Seems hard to believe that the 9th place team in a mediocre conference is still a lock for the NIT.

They were never a lock, at all. All the projections for the NIT I have seen has LSU as a 6-8 seed.

I always saw them more as a NIT bubble team. I know that's not a popular among the sunshine pumpers. With them being a one and done or at max 1 more win, I still don't think that's enough to make them a lock for the NIT. I know alot of the pumpers are saying how they think LSU will be a big dance team next year. I, however, see them more as a solid NIT with an outside shot at the big dance. Yes, LSU will bring in a very good recruiting class, but look at UK. They have a better class this yr than LSU is bringing in next season and they will barely make the big dance. Hopefully the recruiting class coming in can gel and they can be a solid NCAA tourney team in 2 yrs.

You haven't been looking around very hard. Several have had LSU as high as 2 seed before today's loss.

We got a lot of help NIT wise today, UK Bama UT and Ole Miss (all NCAA Bubble teams) won today (yea I realize Ole Miss winning isn't great).

If the SEC gets 4 or 5 bids as opposed to 2 it'll make LSU that much more appealing for the NIT

I've had a lot of time to sit back this season. And you're an ignorant douchebag judging from your posts. All you come here to do is flame basketball threads. Congratulations, redneck.

That's why I ignore him, this team could be undefeated right now and he'd still find a reason to bitch about something.

That Kentucky team lost their best player to injury and relies almost exclusively on freshmen, something we won't have to do next year with JOB, Hickey, and many others coming back.

So you are still happy with the effort and JJ right? This is just a learning experience to me.

Yes, because I'm such a huge Kansas fan I get really upset. What I do know is that you're a troll who just wants to shite all over every basketball thread because you're an ignorant redneck. You've done it since December on this board. Well, you're being called out for the little bitch you are now.

They are a solid NCAA team next year. JOB, hickey, stringer, Malik. You lose carmouche. Getting Mickey and Martin, quarterman, Odo will be HUGE for us. If we had another 6'9 PF who wasn't worthless (ADP), we have 4 more wins easily. We are a bubble NIT team and all out core guys are growing up, with some talent coming in. And Odo is already here. I think we get a 6th seed and go to sweet 16

His thread calling out all the imaginary people who promised a NCAA tourney bid was rantard magic.
