Great fun live. I thought they were a blast, and For the Love of Ivy goes from a forgettable B-side to probably their best live song. The room just went insane during the verses.

Incredibly high energy and they just whip the crowd into a frenzy. If you miss out, well, your loss. They are tons of fun.

Yeah I plan on attending

Wish I could have caught them at one eyed jacks

I think they probably should have been booked at a bigger venue like the varsity however

No, I said too much emo. Is that what you associate rock and roll with? Cause that sucks for you if so.

If the term "emo" applies to Japandroids, then the term is officially meaningless. They sound nothing like an emo band.

That linked tune was pretty good..

And gotta love a cover of the Gun Club... and looking at their latest disc... a song named Nights of Wine and Roses is an obvious nod to Dream Syndicate... Also refreshing to see a guitar/drum duo that is not blues based... bonus points!

They are absolutely a rock and roll band

Your desperate attempt to label them as "emo" is pretty hilarious though.

I know what you mean, its like punk rock, whiny vocals. That aggravates the shite out of me too, but hopefully all the noise in the Moon will drown that out; Or else I will have to get shite faced so I won't care.

Maybe not whiny, I just can't think of the right word. It's like the Blink 182, Falling in Reverse, Fall Out Boy punk sounding voice.

The music sounds good though.

It's punk rock vocals of anything IMO

They have a total "punk" vibe and aesthetic
