About 1500 of them will be moved from the lower SEZ to the new upper SEZ addition in 2014

that's good if true. the more tiger fans closer to the field, the louder it will be down there!

SEZ seats are ALL priced the same...$210 "donation" plus the costs of the tickets...no difference btw. lower and upper deck seats.

Hell, A&M might as well put lawn chairs on top of a cell tower 5 miles from Kyle Field and call it the visitor section.

This... Pigeons were lower than we were at some points....

I don't doubt it.

For people not familiar, this is the view from the endzone nosebleeds (visitor section) at Kyle Field:

I was on the last row last year too. Funny as shite, there was a big box with like a cell phone repeater mounted to the back wall. It took up like 2 whole seats, and sure as shite, they still had numbers on the seats. Funny as shite that they probably sold that to someone.

I'm going to Samford next year for UGA and I hear you are up on the 3rd deck.

The good news is that they seat a large contingent of visiting fans together at Sanford. The bad news is that you're way up in the 3rd upper deck, which is so far removed from the field that you don't feel as if you're even in the same venue.

True... I went to game there a few years back and hated it. Might as well have been in the blimp. Sound took a second to catch up to action.

Ole Miss are the only two schools that I have been to where the visitors had decent seats...

Its not hard to have a decent seat in that high school stadium

I hate having to sit in the stratosphere in opposing SEC stadiums. We were the last school in the conference to allot visiting teams seating in the lower bowl. The SEC needs to get together and make a say enough with this and treat the visitors right. Lets keep our world famous southern hospitality and make away games better for visitors

So true. Same with Texas A&M, Alabama and Tennessee. Florida is the best place for a visiting team to watch a game

My last trip in 08 to The Swamp was my last trip. Although the seats weren't in the stratosphere, the section was peppered with Gaytards. Most were gracious in giving us that asswhipping, but the 3 dicks behind us wanted to fight the entire time.

For the money, Ole Miss has the best seats. Vandy wasn't too bad either.

The SEC already HAS minimum seat/location rules...the requirement calls for a minimum # of lower deck seats {usually behind the team bench} and then you can scatter the other 5000 or so, in ANY manner you choose !
I for one, am glad we'll finally treat the rest of the SEC {other than Ole Ms/FL}, in the exact manner they have done to us for better than a dozen years OR treat each visitor exactly how they treat us. Not much hope for that though, LSU admins. don't seem to give a crap about the bulk of the traveling Tigers...I doubt they've said one word to bama,GA et al !

Problem is...virtually none of our SEC "brothers", give visitors anywhere near as good seats as we do.

This.
I went to BDS for the game in 2011, and was stunned at how they split up the vising fans - most of us were in the upper deck in the dark, while the remaining fans were peppered in various areas around the stadium.

There wasn't a perceptible LSU contingent. If your were an LSU player on the field, you presumption likely would have been that we didn't bring any fans at all.

I'm in favor of putting Alashama Teabagumpers on the top 2 rows of each upper deck. And only allow them 1 bathroom each.

I went to that Gar hole called Kyle field, nosebleed seats that are so small we couldn't sit together, ended up standing on the walkway down about ten rows, good corn dogs though

I disagree. Half the visitors are in the lower portion, the other half are a mile high.

Jordan-Hare, IMO, is the best venue for visitors in the SEC.

Jordan Hare sucks. Went there during Cam and all the LSU fans were in upper corners....

This is the only place I have been to for a road game, but it was a blast last year. Besides us trying to give the game away and everything, it was a lot of fun. Beautiful campus as well.

i remember when LSU gave the visitors 10,000 lower level seats (before we even had the east upper deck) There was more atmosphere and intensity between the opposing fan bases esp Ole Miss
I remember that too. I thought I remember for the games against Ole Miss and Alabama the entire lower bowl in the south endzone being taken over by visitors. It large and contiguous visitor section made for some pretty obtrusive noise when their team scored or was on defense. I hated it. Am glad LSU finally is catcing on to what other stadia do to their visitors: scatter them to the four corners and beyond.

There were some decent seats given to LSU fans in Fayetteville this past year. Not many, but a few. I was banished to the corner of the upper deck though. And it was windy ..........and cold.
