Mocking draft trades is even a more far fetched proposition than basic mocks.

My question is, What player at #15 do they want that they know won't be there at #21. CB is one of their higher need positions.

I'd also chime in on Rhodes availability. At #15 I'd prolly go less than 50% available, #21 even less.

Williams more likely than not also gone at #53

Like the Maponga pick a lot
---------------------

Mark Barron, Marcel Dareus, Terrence Cody, Demeco Ryans, Charlie Peprah, are other bama defenders that have panned out okay in the NFL

i could see Coradelle Patterson or Dee Milner.

So most are overrated, but all of the talent around them makes them better.

Does Not Compute.

How so? Complex blitzing schemes help less adequare pass rushers get sacks and bad cover cirners look decent. Playing a cakewalk schedule while looking inferior when playing equal talent. Williams might turn out to be a stud but considering he was not dominant at all and even got whooped some against good O-Lines shows me he might not be worth one of our valuable picks.

Also they are talented but most schools have 3-4 talented players on the field at one time and those players have to work harder to make up for their teammates.

Bama has 8-9 talented players on the field at one time whuxh makes everyone look better then thry might actually be.

I like it. But I could have sworn Corneilus Washington is DE, not a LB.

just draft talking...

So you think no CB before #15? Or do you have others higher? Your scenario is no Milliner until #15 then Rhodes at #21.

My take is that Milliner will likely not get past Detroit at #5, certainly not past the Jets if Revis is gone. I have Rhodes as more probable gone than on the board at #15 as well.

Patterson could be. For bungles needs I'd put SILB as #1, maybe SS. Minter or Teo prolly could be had at #21, or even later.

Just advocating for the devil. Just if ya missed it (and I hope not too terribly disrespectful,) but here's a link to my last mock pre-Combine.

How so? Most people don't even notice the interior lineman and how they play.

I mean he wasn't a beast like Terrence Cody or anything but I think he would help out the Saints. By the way, I can't stand Alabama so don't confuse me with some Bama homer here.

Again, this makes no sense. If most of the players on D are overrate, how can they have 8-9 talented players on the field at a time?

Saying the guy is overrated is one thing. Calling the vast majority of the stop unit overrated while saying they field 8-9 talented guys at any given time is contradictory.

Man, I am not hating, knocking or being contradictiory at all.

Overrated in the sense that a guy who should be a 5th round pick winds up going in the 2nd. If we pick him then I will love him like every other Saint but it doesnt change the fact that I do not think he is worth a 2nd round pick considering he did not look good at all against the 3 good O-Lines he played this year.

Watch the gametapes of him vs A&M, LSU, and UGA and you will see what I am saying.

Lol at us being able to take Milner at 15.

Also, anyone balking at taking Rhodes is a damn moron. That guy is the truth and will be an absolute star in this league.

Ha yea Millner will be going to Detroit at #5. And Patterson won't make it past the top 12 IMO. Cleveland, Buffalo, and Miami all need a big body #1 WR and Patterson is just that.
