I had my taxes done a week ago and had them e-filed. How long before the refund should be deposited?

The IRS issued 9 out of 10 refunds in 21 days or less last year. Took me about 2 and a half weeks to get mine this year.

I would say the second or third Friday after you file is realistic.

I'd hate the thought of overpaying taxes, then waiting for someone to give me my own money back.
