In Leeville on March 23. Guy just stopped me on the road to ask me about it and got me thinkin hard about it. I've never fished a tourney so I'm not sure what to expect.

Can I use my flat boat that has no motor on it?

I doubt it, but I have no idea.

I was going to but it falls on the day of my last class. Next year I will.

From the rules:
So a flat boat without a motor would qualify.
quote:
Paddle/Peddle-Craft Only
No trolling motors / sails / gas engines / “mother ships”
As well as being able to fish from your kayak you are allowed to wade fish or fish off of the bank. As long as the area you are fishing is within 100 ft of your LAUNCHED paddle craft.
Launched means your kayak is on ground or in the water
So a flat boat without a motor would qualify.

Actually, as long as you paddle it only, you can use it.
