How long before headsets are installed in helmets?

To go off on the thread on whether it's best to have a coach in the booth or on the sideline. Would it be better for quarterbacks and mike linebackers have a coach in their ear being an extra set of eyes?

They have them now in the NFL, but they shut off at a certain time left on the playclock.

That's awesome. I was just thinking the only downside is that it would reduce home field advantages. With this rule implemented, I would love to see it done.

How do they monitor that the headsets are turned off? Whatever it is, there is probably a way to circumvent it.

We can't even keep an accurate clock on the scoreboard or a play clock on the field for an entire game. How do you expect our electricians to figure out headsets in helmets
