Agree.

Bertman and Henry easily. Brown too even though he sucked at actually knowing basketball. Thankfully he was a great motivator and hired good assistants.

I'd say Bertman, Henry, Mac, Brown.

No love for D-D Breaux here? Gunter was not any better than her.

Let's say he did exactly what he did at LSU, except after he left, we went through 3 coaches over the next 8 years and barely stayed above 500. Would you still say this?

Miles and Skip are a must.

I am not bitter when I say I would not have Nick Saban on an LSU Rushmore. and it is even more asinine for people to put Saban in, but no Miles. Get over it. Miles has done way more for this university.

You saban worshippers want to give him all this credit for a turn around.. but truth be told the level of HS talent coming out the late 90's was as good as it gets in that time.. and LSU was still and always will be the school to go to for most of these home grown kids. Saban won 1 title and ditched like a traitor. Miles has won 1 and been in 2.. meanwhile composing and incredible winning percentage.. and staying loyal.

I like Deitzel, a lot, and I know he won a national championship here, and it was in football, but he wasn't here very long.
Daddy Dale was here for 25 years. Some posters on here aren't even that old. Although I know Brown never won it all and had the LE situation.

I gotta go:

Miles (lock)
Bertman (lock)
Henry (debatable)
Brown (debatable)

I could see Deitzel instead of Brown or Henry, but I think he gets left out.

Brown should not be on it. See Lester Earl. Nobody that fricks over our university should be on this.

I went back and forth between these two weighing longevity against an NC. In the end the NC won the day but I would have no problem with dale making the cut.

Dale Brown is on the list and it's not debatable. Saban is on the list, he started our run and if you're honest you can't deny it. Les has kept it going in great style. Bertman goes without saying.
Dale, Saban, Miles and Bertman. I would add Arnsparger as well, though his stint was short.

One bad thing can ruin a lifetime of greatness. See Joe Paterno.

That bastard Dale put us on probation.

Had Shaq, Chris Johnson, and Stanley Roberts. I could win the NCAA tourney drunk with only those three players.

Dale kept LSU on the map for 25 years....one mistake, though a bad one, can't erase that. From 77 thru 81 basketball rivaled football in every way.. I was there.
