best i can tell these two are the likely candidates to start against us.

Last years stats:

Heath Mayo
5.53 ERA, .286 ba against, 32 SO, 38 BB

Anthony Galan
7.02 ERA, .350 ba against, 42 SO, 20 BB

Needless to say if we can keep the bats hot, we should rock these guys. Luckily for them its suppose to be cold.

i think its suppose to be low 30s this weekend.

also i just remembered that brown is also facing nicholls on saturday so that second guy may pitch against them.

eta: Mayo had the second best ERA on the staff. The guy above him had a +5 ERA too though.

oh my brown went 9-35 last year. I didnt realize we schedule a team that freaking bad. At least when we brought Dartmouth in they were the cream of the ivy league.

I wish we were playing Nicholls 2x this weekend instead of Brown.

- my wife doesn't like the coldness too much. She would love to have some heaters.

Parent venting: I see these stats and it makes me mad as hell. My oldest son was "lightly" recruited by Brown and practically begged Brown to take him as a pitcher. They ultimately offered him a spot but only if he could get admitted on his own - that is, they didn't give him one of the team's "allotted" spots. Fast forward - he doesn't get admitted to Brown but is asked to try out at LSU last year (his first choice of school - Brown was second). Makes it through tryouts and then pitches in 4 scrimmages in the fall work outs - total runs allowed against the LSU line up in those 4 appearances - 0; total hits allowed - 1. Bottom line, no spot so off to Juco.

Somehow I think he'd have much better stats than Brown's current pitching staff if the stats above are the best they have. Brown's pitching staff is gonna get rocked this weekend and I will love every minute of it knowing they passed on my boy.

Nothing to do with Baseball but I thought this was interesting on Brown University tailgating rules.

Those tailgating rules are garbage.
