How long before hes our sun starter? Hes had good results so far. Ive never seen him pitch. Can anyone tell me the scouting report on him...velocity, repetoire, etc?

He has given up 6 hits and no runs in 12 innings.

Hopefully throws some this sunday, after throwing less than 70 pitches last night he should be able to go by then. Maybe throw him a few innings on Sunday then go to the pen. Hell, maybe he makes it 4-5 innings.

Most likely two Sundays from now to give him one start before SEC play starts. He'll probably toss a couple of innings next mid week game to stay fresh.

Hes got so quality stuff and will be able to go longer than the usual sunday bullpen clean out.

Remember last year when Aaron Nola was a midweek starter. Then he had a good game against Tulane and became the Sunday starter. Hope that Cody Glenn does the same thing this year.

That's what I was thinking. Let him go this Sunday as the starter, maybe see if he can make it to 4 innings. With Rumbelow back and Bovillain in the pen, that would give us more than enough arms. Start Glenn with Bonvillain first out of the pen, then we probably only need to fill up 2 more innings on Sunday.

I know it's very early in the season and they've pitched against considerably different talents, but Cody Glenn looks much better than Bonvillain at this point.

Are they? ULL is probably just as good as the teams the Villain has pitched against.

Would be nice if we only had to use 3 guys on Sunday. Next week we have a Tuesday and Wednesday game which I think Mainieri will pull out the young guns to give them their shots.

I agree. ULL is probably as good as the teams Bonvillan has pitched against.

low 90s fastball. above average curveball. when he's locating he's great. last year his issue was command. This year he seems to have much better command of his pitches. He stuff is good enough to one day be a friday night guy imo. Saturday at the least next year with Eades gone.

If Glenn can look good on Sundays and put Bonvillain back in the pen, I love our chances to get to Omaha.

Does Bonvillain go to the pen or does he start the mid week games?

I expect him to start Sunday against Washington.

Friday: Nola
Saturday: Eades
Sunday: Glenn
Closer: LaMarche

First lefties out of the pen: Cotton, Bonvillian

First righties out of the pen: Rumbelow, Bourgeois

We may see LaMarche swap with Cotton or Rumbelow at closer.

I think that is a postseason quality rotation.
