it's not popular to like The Following, but I enjoy it. And I'm waiting for The Americans to finish their season, and hopefully netflix or Amazon Prime will stream it soon after.

show just iircs me, after the 1st or 2nd time a police officer walked into a room to "search" it, and amounted to basically a 6 year old "making sure their room is clean" .. I was able to look past it - after the 50th time....... not so much

There is intelligent conversation here. Lots of it, in fact.
But that show is pretty terrible, despite the interesting premise and top notch headlining actors.

It is entertaining, but it is full of WTF moments. Some of the writing and plot holes are hard to overcome.

They could have done so much more with Kevin Bacon. So far all he has done is play the serious, pissed off FBI guy. His character is boring.
And the chick follower with the butch hair cut, can't stand her. I don't believe for one second that she is a dark, scary psycho. Same thing goes for the two gay guys. They look like something out of Dawson's creek.

I am in the same boat. I get pissed at some of the stupid things in the show, but it keeps my interest enough to keep watching. The show needs more Purefoy and less crazy follower of the week IMO.
