It's just sad and depressing watching where this team is at and where we thought they were going to be by now.

I don't know what you are talking about but I am way more optimistic now than I was last year

We have more reason to be optimistic now than we had then. At this time last year we HOPED we would be able to at least land TRob, not Davis, and we had no clue we'd sign Anderson. Yes Gordon has underperformed, but

Asterisk Gordon + AD + Ryno >>>>> Gordon + TRob

Chill, dude. Gordon was voted best SG by 5 writers in 2009. We will be fine

I make a motion that we have to call him this from now on.

Considering last year at this time, we didn't know we'd be building around AD, that we'd have a potential most improved player in Gravy, and no idea that we'd have Ryan Anderson on a great contract at 24, he's obviously trolling. What's new?

I agree with TigerinATL, I am more optimisc now than I was last year. Hoping we are able to sign a good big time player in the offseason is even more optimism. Only things I worry about is that Gordon can stay healthy and play well or we are able to trrade him in the offseason for something and hope that Austin Rivers gets to the next level (still too early in my opinion to close the books on him).

I mean, I guess they've underperformed compared to some of our expectations before the season, but I don't see how you could say that it's depressing to watch this team and envision its future.

Same.

-We landed Davis, who is further along offensively than I thought he would be.

-GV has improved to a starting quality PG.

-Tons of cap space.

-We stole one of the best 3 point shooters in the league from Orlando. Him and Smith (without looking it up), have to be the best scoring 4/5 combintation off the bench in the league.

-We are going to be adding another lottery pick this offseason (not to be confused with being on board for tanking).

There's a lot to be excited about looking ahead.

We all had high optimism because we didn't expect Gordon to be a pussy for so long.

This team with Gordon healthy all season would have 30 wins right now minimum, and would be fighting for the 7-8 seed. I have a lot of optimism going forward; seeing the young talent develop and start to gel along with knowing the team has a shite load of cap space to add pieces.

we would be looking a lot better but the front office used another year to build this thing. nobody wants to say so but we have been tanking this season. there is no doubt about it. didnt okc use three years?

Care to elaborate on what moves you wanted the FO to make instead of building another year?

I figured they'd have won at least 3 championships between the draft and now. At least.

Our winning is only 2% improved from last season. It's bad guys. We're supposed to be better than this now.
