Dinner vs. Supper

I still call the last meal of the day supper, not dinner. Dinner is the midday meal, not lunch. I'm tired of the old ways being discarded in favor of the pressures of citified wimpy folks.

Funny, I can't seem to fine the TV Supper section in any grocery store, EVER.

Dinner and supper are interchangeable for the last meal in the evening. Lunch is, well, lunch!
I know some will argue, but that's how I call it!

So if you took someone out to dinner, you would mean at noon?
That's weird.

Then why is a meal in between the "morning meal" and the "midday meal" called Brunch? If you were correct wouldn't it be called Brinner?

Exactly!! C.A. Swanson probably had communist backing for the attempt to undermine the very fabric of the american family.
